Daytona Coachworx was started in 2001. The creation of master paint technician David Mc Loughlin and master panel technician and mechanic Gordon Davies.

Having previously worked for BMW, Mercedes-Benz & working overseas at body shops in New York City, David felt the time was right from himself and Gordon to start their own repair shop.

Having started in a small one car lock-up, they moved onto a bigger workshop in Stevenage Old Town.  This worked out well for six or seven years, but as their client base was growing the workshop become too small and they needed to find a bigger premises.

In 2010 Daytona Coachworx expanded again to the present premises in Todd’s Green, Stevenage.  The workshop is 1900 sq ft with excellent access from the A1M .

The workshop is equipped with a Car-O-liner jig system a 3.5 AAT drive through ramp & new for 2019 is a brand new commercial spray booth capable of taking hi-top long wheel based vans.

The continued investment in the workshop will mean Daytona Coachworx can continue to provide the best possible service and quality work for many years to come.
